Ocean County Man Arrested in Latest Special Operations Group Narcotic Investigation

Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato announced today the arrest of David Egner, 23, of Ivy Way, Beachwood, NJ for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute and Distribution of Cocaine.  Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group, Northern Enforcement Unit, conducted the investigation that resulted in Egner’s arrest.

During the early evening hours of July 17, 2014, Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Northern Enforcement Unit, along with members of the Beachwood Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, executed a search warrant on Egner’s residence located at 89 Ivy Way in Beachwood.  As a result of the search, police seized over one-half ounce of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials used to re-package and distribute CDS, approximately $700 in cash and a stun gun.

Egner was arrested and the Honorable Superior Court Judge Francis R. Hodgson Jr. set bail at $50,000 no ten percent. He was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of bail.
