Preliminary Info Regarding New Egypt Fatal Accident
Today (11/9), just after 10 am, a car being driven southbound near 562 Pinehurst Road in New Egypt for unknown reasons veered into the northbound lane of traffic making impact with a Tractor Trailer traveling northbound. After impact the tractor trailer carrying construction materials came to rest off the road into a tree.
The car was occupied by two teens from Millstone heading to Stockton State College. The driver 19 was transported to Jersey Shore Hospital. The passenger 18 is deceased. The driver of the tractor trailer 73 of Allentown, NJ was transported to a Hamilton Hospital.
The investigation by Plumsted PD, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and Ocean County Sheriff’s Dept CSI is continuing.
