Today’s Sentencings

➢ Donald Campo, 45, of Manchester, NJ was sentenced today before Judge Gizinski on the charge of 1st Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault to 10 years in NJ State Prison (No Early Release), Parole Supervision for Life, Megan’s Law Registration, Nicole’s Law (No Victim Contact) and mandatory fines and penalties. Campo entered a guilty plea to the charge on August 9, 2013. The offense occurred in December of 2011 in Toms River. The victim was 10 years old at the time and known to Campo. OCPO Senior Assistant Prosecutor Terry Ann Linardakis prosecuted the case. OCPO Detective John Carroll and Toms River Township Police Det. Glenn Lucas conducted the investigation.

➢ Israel Hernandez, 32, of Lakewood, NJ was sentenced today before Judge Gizinski on the charge of 2nd Degree Bias Intimidation to 5 years in NJ State Prison; concurrent to 18 months on a charge of 4th Degree Criminal Sexual Contact, with a mandated court imposed no contact with the victim. The defendant also has an ICE detainer. Hernandez entered a guilty plea on June 19, 2014. A co-defendant, Angel Rodriguez, 27, also of Lakewood, pled guilty to 1st Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault and his sentence is pending an AVENEL evaluation. The State is seeking 10 years in NJ State Prison in Rodriquez’s case. The offense occurred on November 3, 2013 in Lakewood. The victim was 29 at time of the incident. OCPO Senior Assistant Prosecutor Terry Ann Linardakis prosecuted the case. The matter was investigated by OCPO Detectives Melissa Matthews and Detective Jason Steele and Lakewood Police Det. Jason Pederson.
