“UNBREAKABLE” OCPO Releases Sixth in the Series of “Right Turn” videos
Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato announces the release of the Office’s newest educational film in the Right Turns Series titled, “Unbreakable”. The film was recently viewed for the first time by a large crowd of students who were at an event hosted by the Ocean County Health Department in the Center Court at Ocean County Mall. The film highlights the dangers that are associated with the act of Distracted Driving. The film was well received by the group who complimented it for its realism and fast moving story line.
Although this film is meant for all to see and benefit from, its target audience will be High School Juniors and Seniors who are themselves on the verge of driving. It’s goal is to make this young audience realize the dangers of distracted driving and the life changing consequences that can result from it.
Ocean County resident and star of the Netflix Series, “Stranger Things”, Gaten Matarazzo introduces the film and speaks to the topic of Distracted Driving.
Crash survivor Gabriel Hurley of Middlesex County New Jersey tells his story in detail and urges the audience to give their undivided attention to the roadway when they are behind the wheel. Gabe’s incredible recovery and very relevant story gives the viewers a first-hand account of how a person’s life can be changed in an instant due to Distracted Driving.
This latest Right Turns film will be available to download from the media gallery on the Prosecutor’s Office Web Site at oceancountyprosecutor.org. It will be distributed to all of the county’s schools for use with their driver education programs. The Prosecutor has authorized its use for any organization in their effort to educate the public about the dangers of distracted driving.
