NY MAN CHARGED IN SIX FLAGS CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONTACT CASE

On 8/30/15 at approximately 10 pm, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit Det. Lindsay Woodfield and Jackson Township Police Det. Mitch Cowit arrested Ronnie U. Lacy, 21, of Manhattan, NY, charging him with Criminal Sexual Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The arrest stems from the investigation by the partnering detectives into a report by a 13 year old female victim and witnesses alleging that on 8/30/15 at approximately 4:45 pm, Ronnie Lacy committed an act of Criminal Sexual Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a child upon the victim as he stood in line behind the victim for the Batman Ride at Six Flags Great Adventure.

Ocean County Superior Court Judge Wendel Daniels set bail at $100,000 no 10% and imposed Nicole’s Law (no contact with the victim).  Lacy has been lodged in the Ocean County Jail in default of bail.

The media and public are reminded that criminal charges are merely accusations and that the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
