OCPO Special Victims Unit Adds to Collection of Special Honors

OCPO Special Victims Unit Lt. Colleen Lynch received the NJ Sex Crimes Officers Association’s 2014 Outstanding Service Award at their December 3rd annual conference held at the Stockton Seaview Hotel in Galloway Township. The award is in recognition of Lt. Lynch’s professionalism, mentoring of detectives, work with special victims and contribution to the establishment of Ocean County’s Child Advocacy Center.

In attendance were Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato, the Acting First Assistant John Corson Jr, the Executive Assistant in Charge of Litigation Deborah Hanlon-Schron, Chief of Detectives Glenn Miller, members of the OCPO Special Victims Unit, NJ Sex Crime Investigators and Advocates from across New Jersey, and proud members of Lt. Lynch’s family.

This has been a very rewarding and productive year for the Special Victims Unit. It’s a year marked by the dedication of Tina’s House, the awarding of National Accreditation to the Unit’s Child Advocacy Center (Tina’s House), and multiple successful prosecutions – Al Della Fave.
